Dr. Martens, also known as Doc Martens, Docs, or DMs, has stomped its way into history since 1901. Originally created by Dr. Klaus Maertens, a German soldier who designed a comfortable air-cushioned boot to aid his recovery from a broken foot, the footwear quickly gained popularity. In 1960, the brand we know today was born with the iconic 1460 boot, adopted by British working-class youth and later embraced by various subcultures for its durability and rebellious spirit.
Dr. Martens prioritizes both timeless design and rugged construction. Their shoes are instantly recognizable by their air-cushioned sole, yellow stitching, and utilitarian details. Made with high-quality leather, Dr. Martens boots and shoes are built to withstand years of wear and tear, making them a true investment piece.
They said these are true size but they run way smaller. Really hurt my feet
I have worn this style and brand of shoes for 30 years. Always loved them. Well I bought this pair and for whatever reason they rubbed my heels so bad it’s been a month and they still haven’t healed. I wore tall thick socks and everything and it just didn’t help. If this is how dr martens are now then I want no part of them.
Had to return these boots because the left boot was defective. It was making a loud cracking/popping sound with every step. Other boot was fine. And when I wanted to exchange a replacement pair was not available.
