Beyond perfect! Honestly, I'm in love! So many great things to love about these boots! Now, I was apprehensive about ordering a women's size 10, as without trying them first I no idea. I am typically more a 9.5 shoe. However, with size 10 I can wear a normal pair of dress socks and I have plenty of room to wiggle my toes. The style of the boot's toe box is awesome because I have bunions that can hurt badly but so far these boots are very comfortable. I would tecommend going up a half-size if you are in between sizes, as I am.The laceup system in the front of the boot is not only such a cool look, but it helps fit this boot custom to your needs. They fit perfectly as once you have it set where u want it you just zipper and unzip about having to mess around with the lacing again. Nice ease! I also love love love, did I say love, LOL, the high quality of these boots. They are so substantial and I will feel very protected on the bike.I am going to give you some measurements here in case you happen to be about my size and may be uncertain as to how they will fit:My calves: 16" including skinny jeans because I tuck the jeans in to the boots..so I included my (tight fitting) jeans in the measurement. I'm 5'8" and the length from the floor up to the base of my knee is about 17 " and these boots come up high, just under my knee. They are tall!My sock footed measurements are 10.5" long by 4" at the widest (widest is where the ball mound of the foot is.)If you look at the pictures you will see the details on the silver rivets and the cool detailing along the exterior of the boots. What can I say? These are just the coolest boots I have ever owned!Harley Davidson is quality through and through!
The sizing is accurate and if you are a 10.5 normally, like me, then measure you foot and look at the chart they provide. It said I would be a 10 so that is what I got and it fit perfectly. They also look really nice with jeggings or other thin pants. I haven't tried them with sweats yet but you can always losten the string. Yes, they are stiff at first but I wore them around the house all day and by the end they were completely fine. I also used some conditioning oil to help out with breaking them in. With the durability, I accidently kicked the edge of a cabinet and felt nothing, even though if i did that in my normal footwear i would bruise. The grip is fantastic even on wet tile and, even though they are a bit heavy I find that the protection they give is more than worth it. All around they were definitely worth the money.
Pretty heavy but very nice boots!
I have shorter HD boots with more rounded toe in a size 8. I got these in 8.5 because foot looked narrower and I'm glad I did. I don't have a huge calf by any means but I had to loosen the laces a good bit to zip them up. My BIGGEST complaint is this...why doesn't HD add a flap to cover the zipper on the inside? (My Milwaukee Leather tall boots have one). I don't think they take an actual rider into consideration here, as the zipper rubs against my air cleaner cover while I'm riding. So I'll be taking these to my patch man and have him sew something on that can cover the zipper at the top like my ML's. What I like more about these than my ML is that I feel these have more support in the ankle than those do and will be better for walking alot when off the bike.
Amazing boots! I was a bit reluctant to spend the money on them, but I wanted boots that were substantial, as in good tread for our wet slippery country roads, made with quality, real materials such as leather (not man-made, easy to rip, pleather), and had some insulating - not faux fuzzy fur that looks cute for a day then gets sort of matted and ratty. You get what you pay for, and I wanted my new boots to last, so that I wouldn't have to be buying yet another cheap pair each year. These really fit the bill, so I took a chance and spent the money, and I am so glad I did! They met all of my 'wants' and exceeded my expectations. They are very comfortable as well. Fit is perfect. I get compliments on them each time I wear them, which is sort of nice too.
I haven't had a chance to wear them yet because I took them to a cobbler to help with the breaking in process but on sight alone I absolutely love them! I'd order a half a size larger then you normally wear and I don't recommend these boots if you have wider feet. I'll write another review after I've gotten them back from the cobbler and have worn them for a while.
Excellent quality, not at all flimsy, and I feel like a bada$$. Bonus.
The shaft circumference was not listed on any websites that carried this boot. My specs, I have 15 in calves in the widest part size 8. My foot is on the wide side, so maybe not a good fit for a narrow foot, or you could wear thicker socks. The boot has real laces and is completely adjustable from the ankle to the knee. You then can use the zippers to quickly get in and out of them or adjust them to tuck in jeans, etc. I am 5'5" and these boots come up right to the knee. 15.5 inch shaft height. These boots are a bit stiff at first, but just wearing them around the house for a day helped. I am a lady rider and plan to wear them riding. The sole is heavy duty non skid rubber and looks like it will do the job. I love the vintage look of these boots.
