I had been looking for my size since last year and they were sold out—went up too big went down too small. Finally! My only two complaints: the box was crushed and there is a little oder that I hope dissipates!! It was nice to get a note of thanks.
I match it up with a green cardigan for the winter. Going out on a cool nite with friends. Start buying new clothes while everyone else saying it’s to hot now. You will have a better selection to choose from.
Fashion forward, easy to put on
Purchased both these & the Steve Madden Fantsie Boot in Bone Leather. Ended up sticking with the other option because I liked the overall style & fit more.
First I must say, the customer service is wonderful. Fast delivery. Beautiful boots. Lovely note enclosed in the box. Thank you! The Boots!!! The black leather boots with the green lug soles....SO fabulous! They fit true to size. Smooth leather. I can't wait to wear them this Fall. I love the green soles, makes them a bit different than the regular, solid color Chelsea boots. And the price?! A steal! You won't be disappointed. :-)
I really like the boots and get lots of compliments when I wear it. The only issue was with the shipping. It was only inside the regular shoe box and a bag. It took forever to get here and when it did there was water damage in one of the boots.Amazon marked as not delivered meaning I could not return. I tried and vendor and Amazon customer service at the time and no luck. In the meantime the price of the product doubled and I could not return and get a new one separately.Long story short with being mega busy in the holiday season I decided to keep the boots.There is also no need to order a size up. It is true to the size.
Great boots but Steve Madden has NO idea what calves are. The elastic is soo tight that it makes your leg muffin top over the boot pushing it down and buckle at an odd angle around the ankle. Trying to stretch out with heat (iron), will see how that goes.
Very elegant, good quality leather shoe. However, I'm only 5 ft and they were too high for my ankle and ended up hitting my calve, so I returned these. Otherwise very classy but edgy look at the same time.
