I ordered my usual size, 9.5 and they fit great. They’re smaller than I expected them to be because I had read reviews about these boots saying they run large. I figured I’d go with my regular size and they’d be perfect for wearing thick socks with. That’s not the case, but I’m totally fine with it! They’ll work great with average-thickness socks.They’re super breathable. I’m guessing it’s because of the exterior being genuine leather. It’s about 80°F today but I wanted to break them in a bit so I can wear them this weekend. I’m wearing them with no socks and they’re not uncomfortable at all. I’ve just been moving around the (warm) house in them so I’m not sure if this would be the case if I was walking a lot.The YKK zippers on the boots are so great. It makes removing them and putting them on a lot easier.There is a very strong smell when they first come out of the box. I’ve only had them for a few hours so I can’t speak to how long the smell lasts.I have no idea if these are the real deal or if they’re fakes. They look good to me and seem like genuine leather. They’re very flexible and they don't squeak when I walk like an old pair of faux leather combat boots I once had. So far, I’m very happy with them!
I received the boots today and immediately put them on to start breaking them in. Overall, the boots are well made. They have a nice look and color. They will work well with my Halloween costume. However, if you have wide feet you may want to get them in wide or find something else. They are narrow. I ordered one size up because I couldn't find a wide and its still a little tight. I do think they may stretch somewhat.
I’ve been purchasing this exact same black boot for the last 5 years about ever 9-8 months once it get too worn in. The older pair becomes my outdoor yard work boots and the newer for everything else. They’re comfortable, durable and cute. Love to pair them with everything including dresses.
Needed nice pair of mid calf boots to help support an ankle injury. These are great! Color is rich, and that really hard color of brown to find I'm most shoes. Comfortable straight out of box. Fantastic value for a very nicely made of supple pair of leather boots!!!

I love these! Comfortable to wear all day! True to size, though I put inserts in them so I sized up a half size. I love that these have a zipper so they're easy to take on and off.One comment on design though - there's a notch/cut out halfway down the eyestay (the leather piece with the eyelets in it) and I'm not a huge fan of the aesthetic of that cut out, but it's not a dealkiller.
Nice leather boots. Not heavy. Do not have excessive soles. They fit well and hold a shine with regular wax polish. I did not see a zipper when shopping for them although I prefer a straight lace up boot. I decided to keep them because of the fit and the price. Very comfortable. I recommend the Madden boot. I am completely satisfied. If available in brown I will order the same style.
They are flatter than what I thought. Maybe my arch is a little high but they are loose / wide fit so you can wear your favorite socks with them or maybe add arch support. I’m going to purchase another pair because I feel for the price they’re worth it!
