The Drop Women's Koi Lace Up Platform Combat Boots

Summary: The monochrome dark olive tone hooked me- the faux-leather, rubber soles, waxed laces, and even the zipper are the same color. They have a slightly more almond-shaped toe than typical combat boots which sneak in a bit of Victorian elegance. Color is true to product photos, my pics were taken in bright daylight so may seem lighter. I am between sizes, ordered the larger and happy w/ it.Details:Materials/Construction - Quality aligned w/ expectations. If you look closely you can see glue around the perimeter of the shoe, not sloppy just visible. No one's looking that close but anything with visible glue makes me question longevity. Not reducing rating because I still love the boots, they feel sturdy, and no way to know if it's even going to be a problem.Fit/Sizing - Exceeded comfort expectations. I wear either U.S. women's shoe size 8.5 or 9 (regular width) equally, so ordering online is a gamble. Went with 9 since I'll always have socks on. A touch extra room past my toes, but not problematic (too small is always unwearable). The first time I wore them was out all day on 3 different errands, lots of walking and being on my feet, and had zero issues.Note on width - Saw a few reviewer complaints about width. If you have wide feet, that is a specific sizing need that you cannot expect from a regular-width shoe. Oftentimes I order regular-size shoes that are too wide, but these fit perfectly, making their accurate sizing praise-worthy. If the boots were wide, that would be worth a complaint since they are not advertised as such; basically, if you order regular-width shoes and that is what you receive, a complaint is unwarranted if your feet are wide and you ordered them anyway.

These stylish and well made boots are a must for anyone who wants a good fitting and good looking boot. The zip up the side allows you to adjust the laces once for a good fit, but still slip them off easily, and back on in one quick action. I also love the little bit of extra higgt tgey give me!

This is my first The Drop order and I must say these boots are so great! I’m really happy I went with the olive color. They look so elevated and expensive because the entire shoe is monochromatic in the olive green. I’m a true size 8 and I ordered an 8, and they fit perfectly. Nice and snug, but not tight. They fit like a glove actually and are super comfortable! I could walk around all day in these. The little buckle detail adds to the cool element. I can’t wait to break these out for fall! I love them!

In theory, these boots are super freaking cute based off the listing photo, but I am on the heavier side and just wasn’t feeling how they looked on me. Kind of clunky and heavy too.I still plan to wear them to church with some tights, and may have a change of feelings about them idk.Super nice quality feel and packaged with care/giftable.Fit as expected.

I decided to try these boots even though I thought they’d be really difficult to put on. I couldn’t see in the pics if they have zippers on the side—I figured they didn’t, but it turns out they do. That’s a big selling point for me. :-)

The boots are well made. There's no odor. Thick sole and light weight. True to the size but slim fit. Not recommend for those with wide feet.

Fits true to size. Great with jeans, leggings or maxi dresses. Very cool looking and comfortable.
