I normally wear 9.5 Wide. I ordered size 40 in this sandal. I fits great. Nice sandal, good leather that feels soft on my skin. The Velcro straps took me a little time to figure it out as it is important to secure the straps in the back (heel) and the front. I do have a bunion and the sandal provide me with room to confortable fit it in it. I can see myself wearing the sandals a lot
I love these so much that I bought both the black and brown. I have such a high arch that it cannot be seen on the Aetrex foot scan in the stores. Sizing is spot on. These are extremely comfortable for my plantar fasciitis. I can wear them all day long for days in a row with zero issues. This is one of the few brands that I can say that about. The other brand being Hoka, which is a tennis shoe. Thank you, Dansko!
I was leaving for the hospital to visit my husband after surgery and just as I stepped off the porch the velcro came undone and the shoe flew off my foot. What if I was away from home and the shoe wouldn't stay on? I will stick with proper buckles on my sandals from now on.

I just didn’t feel comfortable at all in these sandals, but my feet are really narrow. These are fine for a person with a perfect foot and instep.
Good arch support and overall comfortable - returning due to large gap between bands close to toes that you can't adjust.
They are cute. My feet slide in them a bit. Hoping they don't cause blisters with all day walking.
