Word of the clogs’ comfort traveled quickly, and Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe”) was born.

These shoes are adorable! They were comfortable all day and work with socks or without socks. It was so nice to come home and not take off my shoes immediately because my feet hurt. They also go with the dresses that I own and pretty much anything casual. The last pair of Dansko’s that I owned were clogs and I wore them for 10 years while serving tables. These shoes will last me a long time, and the Dansko brand is one that I stand behind. From waitress to Realtor, Dansko does the job so I can do mine.

These shoes are what I needed - good, comfortable fit with a narrow heel. I have problems with shoes slipping on the back - these do not. A classmate of mind suggest Dansby - I’m glad she did. These work well for me.
Good shoes but with my feet even the 1.5 (or 2”?) heel put my feet at a bad angle so I’m returning them and getting a similar style with a little bit of a platform sole and lower heel (the Beatrice). I like the Mary Jane style and adjustable strap. The wine color is really beautiful too. Most people probably wouldn’t notice the heel and slope of the insole but I need reduced pressure on the ball of the foot.
