I wanted a pair of sneaker type shoes to walk in. I am disabled so shoes with laces are very difficult for me to wear. When I saw these for a terrific sale price, I thought they might do the trick. And they absolutely do. Very comfortable, easy to get on and off, I love the zipper instead of laces, I love that there's no tongue, and I love that they look good. The size range is outstanding. Finding half-sizes after size 10 is often difficult. These had them. Plus there are so many widths - narrow, regular, wide, and extra-wide. I recommended them to my best friend who has difficulty finding narrow shoes, especially in sneakers, and she loves them, too. Other reviewers said to buy a half-size larger. I did and they fit perfectly. The only thing I would change is to have a little more cushioning with a little more arch support. And that was easy enough to fix by buying an insert. Now they are perfect. I hope they are still being made when these need to be replaced. I am very happy with these shoes!3 months later... I still like the shoes, but would not buy them again. For the past 6 weeks, the zipper has not been staying up. The shoes shoes almost fall off my feet. In fact, I tripped one time when they were loose. I wanted to add this because I was so enthusiastic about them originally, but now I can't recommend them at all.
For the most part, I wear Easy Spirt, I have for years.I usually wear an 8.5 wide or 9 wide depending on the style of the last.I have a high arch and a high instep this is why I wear Easy Spirit, they fit, they are stylish and affordable, especially if on sale.These looked narrow by the picture so I went with 8.5 double wide. I’m glad I did., width is good, they are a tiny bit longer than most styles I wear from Easy Spirt, but they will work.These are Ultra lightweight, they almost feel like house slippers, easy on / off and machine washable is a plus for me as I intend to wear these while working in my garden.
Shoes run narrow for a wide width purchased, but seem loose vertically. They are comfortable, but seem slightly different sizes between shoes. This may be because my feet are slightly different. All in all they are a decent purchase.

The fit is loose for size but I don’t think you could size down. The zipper closing does not allow for adjusting fit.

These Easy Spirit casual shoes are nice looking and feel great after wearing them all day. I have problem feet and everything about these shoes are a plus. Easy to get on with the front zipper and the fabric top of the shoes work very well. I bought the taupe color and they were perfect with jeans. Great purchase and I might even get another pair in a different color.
