You cannot go wrong with Mephisto. Amazingly comfortable, well made, with top quality materials. There is white stitching all around the edges which is more pronounced than the picture indicates, but I got used to it. I had foot surgery several months ago, and because the strap over the toes is adjustable, I can now wear beautiful, "normal" shoes. Love these.

This size 40. Is really a size 9. Not 10 my previous purchase of this shoe was 41 for size 9 1/2 a size 10 was a 42 somehow these sizes are messed up a new manufacturer perhaps they need to be informed I won't buy anymore of this brand till they fix the sizing
Size 12 US is a 42 EUR and fits like an 11 or 11 1/2. Wish I knew this beforehand. Otherwise, they are lovely!
