The opening of facilities in the USA allowed for better service and product development to suit the needs of the North American market.

Had the same pair in black in past definitely my favorite sandals ever comfortable and they can be dressed up or down !! Had for 4years happy to have a new pair ! size up for if in between !
I bought a pair of these shoes several years ago. It was a bit of a splurge, but I thought they were very cute and they fit my narrow feet well. They have become my "go to" when I want something dressier than flip-flops, but still comfortable and flat. After a few years of wearing, the elastic part that goes through the silver ring has started to tear. I decided it was time for a new pair.I looked on my original pair and noticed it was a size 38 - which corresponds with size 7 to 7 1/2 US. I am a size 8 to 8 1/2, but I went ahead and ordered the same size. They fit perfectly. I can't imagine someone with wider feet wearing these, they would be very tight. My second pair needs a little breaking-in, but I am happy with them.
This is my 2nd pair of these sandals. Once broke in, they are a wear all day sandal. Very well made, very classy looking in a casual way, or good for dress up!
This is the third pair of Rieker sandals I've owned.Living in the Southwest they look great with silver jewelry and denim.
This is my second pair of the black color sandal, I also have it in silver. These sandals are the most comfortable I have ever worn. And, they are cute! The first pair of black ones I wore out after two years of constant wear. The elastic just wore out and the sandal became loose. But they are worth every penny, IMO. I will be buying a pair in white soon!
