These are comfortable enough to be used for everyday walking and everyday living. I can't say that about other hiking shoes that I own. It's not that hiking shoes are uncomfortable, but they don't compare to comfortable walking shoes. These feel like comfortable walking shoes. As you might expect, they are very grippy on unpaved surfaces. They perform well on all sorts of terrain and inclines.I like the no-tie, adjustable laces. Truthfully, I wear these like slip-ons for pavement and easy trails. When I take on more challenging terrain, I simply tighten the laces. What I really like is that I don't have to tie the laces when they become undone... because they can't become undone. The manufacturer doesn't claim they are waterproof, but they imply it. I tested them. They are water-resistant but not waterproof. If it starts to rain and you have to get through some puddles until you can get under cover, you'll be fine. But these are not meant for constant sloshing. If you constantly expose them to water, then you will start to feel the moisture coming through. To be clear, I have expensive trail running shoes, and if I walk or jog through dewy grass, the moisture comes through. Those shoes don't claim to be waterproof, and neither do these. If I were to walk through the same dewy grass with these, my feet would probably be dry. So, water resistance vs. no water resistance. It's a plus for this shoe.Recommended without reservation.
These are decent well made hiking shoes. They feel durable and comfortable. I can walk over rocks and dirt pretty much without issues. I have my custom orthotics in them which makes them a bit more tight. Without the inserts they fit fine but I could probably use a wider shoe with my inserts to be at maximum comfort. However if you don’t need a wider shoe or putting inserts in these will fit decently. I like them and will continue to wear them when I go on the trail.
I was reluctant to order shoes from a brand I have never worn before, but these turned out to be great. My usual problem is the size difference between different brands, but these were spot on with sizing. The fact that there are no laces to tie makes them quick to put on and take off and they're very comfortable for a hiking shoe. The sole pattern provides plenty of grip and the shoe itself is very comfortable all round. Huge win with these!
Really comfortable hiker. The quick laces are a nice touch too. The soles don't pick up rocks (I find shoes that do this really annoying!) and there is good traction even on un-even rough terrain. They grip on rock surfaces well. All day comfort is not a problem in these. The insoles have just the right amount of support and cushion for my dogs.
So I’ve been spoiled by Keen shoes, sandals and their boots.I compare all footwear to Keen, haven’t found a brand that really compares to durability, comfort, with a roomy toe box. They are lightweight. Not very true to size, about a half size to big, the toe box not very roomy either. The soles can be slippery if they’re wet on tile. The insoles can be better, which can be swapped out for some Keens K-20’s insoles.I wouldn’t recommend.
These shoes are great. They are super comfortable and very supportive.I took them on a 3.5 mile walk and was surprised just how comfortable they were. I have a very low arch so supportive shoes are really needed for when I go for walks for exercise. And these shoes did the job. They were extremely supportive without hurting my feet.Excellent shoes
It is lightweight but feels sturdy and gives me enough grip. It felt comfortable on my feet without neding insoles and the size fits perfectly.
I've been using these shoes for my morning hikes now for a week. I like them. My feet aren't tired even after 5 miles of trails and streets. They aren't water proof, but the tread is great and doesn't trap dirt forever.
