Taos is usually a go to for me with a good fit and support. Unfortunately, I have a wide foot and although I did order a wide size, based on reviews and product description, I thought this would fit. However, this fit is different from my other Taos shoes, narrower than my other wide sized shoe. The material is very stiff also. Had to return…
I purchased these as I was looking for a canvas tennis shoe- but not Chuck Taylors, because those are too narrow for my feet. These are okay and a much wider fit than Chucks, but the toe area is so rounded-it looks kinda funky. I also purchased another brand and ended up wearing the other ones and not these, which are still sitting in a box in my closet- so take that for what its worth.
The seam cause major blisters to both little toes.
I liked the fit and I had them on all day at work.
This is my second pair of TAOS Star tennis shoes. I have mild capsulitis in my right foot and the arch support and cushion in these shoes is great. I can wear without foot pain. They are attractive at the same time, which is often not the case in shoes with good orthotics.
Love the look and they are very well made. They are stiff and very hard insoles.
Though I usually wear a 6.5, I ordered a 7. Glad that I did because the shoe seems to run a half size small. Otherwise, they seem to be exceptionally durable and well made.
Love these shoes! Adds a better look than your regular sneakers.
