Cat Footwear Men's Threshold Waterproof Soft Toe Work Boot, Black, 8.5

I typically wear 10.5 wide and ordered CAT Threshold Work Boot in that size. I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these are immediately. Some break-in of boots like these to get them feeling good a would be understandable, but these don't seem to need it. They are a little tighter in all the right spots and a little looser in all the right spots--the fit just feels right, standing and walking. Really nice!Time will be the true test, but these look to be well-made as well. Nothing about their construction stands out to me as problematic. If they do hold up well, and the fit stays good also, I would say these are high quality and a bargain for the price. Kudos to CAT for actually delivering quality and value to consumers with this boot! Examples of that are harder and harder to find... Based on initial impressions I highly recommend.

Bought these work boots because of the recent reviews and also, they have the 3 important factors working in construction. Firstly, comfort right out the box. Non-slip, waterproof and electrical hazard safety. Box arrived quickly. Tried them on and fit perfectly for my 9.5 size. Great color as well. Wore them the next day at work. No issues. Lightweight as well. I'm actually going to buy another pair as the price is decent and probably the best boot, I so far bought on amazon.

Very seldom do I find this high of quality in shoes. I am very pleased. Not only do these shoes fit perfectly, they are very well built. The first time I put them on it felt like they were a part of me. I have used them in town all day, as well as working in the mud and gravel all day. I will buy another pair as soon as I see a sale on them.

This is my second pair of these boots. They hold up well, are pretty comfortable out the box and are made pretty well too. All leather uppers, say they’re waterproof but beyond stepping in a few deep puddles and wet grass I can’t confirm. If you want serious waterproof boots you gotta get GoreTex anyways. The soles don’t have an aggressive lug pattern which I like cuz these boots don’t pick up a lot of mud and debris. I like the covered toe part which is like a rubberized fabric. Which will wear through after a while so if you’re on your knees a lot they’ll wear out after a while. Good heel support and decent arch support. Get yourself some good insoles, no boot company I’ve seen gives you good insoles with the boots they’re all a joke. Get the best ones you can find cuz they’re worth it. The eyelets some people don’t like cuz they can break, the top lace hook popped out on mine but I don’t need it. The laces are like paracord, and seem to last longer than normal but not the life of the boots unless your working indoors. All in all if you can find these for under $90 Is grab em. Plus, they do look pretty cool I think.

Needed some replacement work boots and the Fit is perfect, like a glove. Very light and excellent working boots. Highly reccomended for jobs as a Porter, Mechanic types, and other light to medium jobs. Very well insulated. First product of boots I ever bought from CAT.

My husband loves these boots. He's a trucker and is in and out of the truck in the cold wet winters of the mid west. He says they are very comfortable and keep his feet warm and dry.We highly recommend these boots.

This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair lasted 2 years. I’m a contractor and worn them to work everyday. The sole provides great traction. The price was slightly less than other boots but the quality was fantastic. Not many negatives but here goes. They weren’t that warm in the winter but wool socks helped a lot. The sole did show wear but after 2 years it was expected and seemed appropriate.

I bought the brown boots of this style a while back and found them to be my most comfortable boots ever, I just bought the black ones which are just as comfortable, stylish and perfect for me.
