First of all, these are truly wonderful shoes. If you're used to Crocs, I can tell you there's no comparison. These shoes are miles better -- incredibly cushion-y AND have arch support. If you don't need those things, you might not want to pay a bit more for Dux, but if you need padding and arch support to keep your feet and legs happy, get a pair! I think they have a two-year guarantee. I have to say that the tread doesn't last that long for me (I walk the dogs in them sometimes), but the cushion and support last and last. The retail price for Dux is a bit steep in my opinion, but by haunting eBay and Amazon, I occasionally find a good deal. I highly recommend these shoes.
I bought a pair of these in a high end shoe store in town while getting my feet mapped for custom orthotics. I have worn crocs around the house for years (not in public :) ). The Therapist that was working with me turned me to these instead of crocs. They are much more supportive and "hug" the bottom of your feet as you are wearing them. A lot of my foot issues were less noticeable while wearing these. I broke the back strap off my original pair and picked up a new replacement pair from Amazon. The strap breaking was my fault as I was trying to remove them while standing up and kicking them off.
it is hard to compare US sizes with european sizes. The comparison chart is to vague and I think I ordered a size too large.
The whole family wears these shoes in the house. It has helped our feet, ankles and knees by reducing the pain of walking on our granite and hardwood floors. Highly recommend!
I ordered these for my 77 year old dad as I have a pair. He said he has never ever in his whole life had a more comfortable shoe! that he will wear them forever!! these are the most comfortable shoes on the planet. It's like walking on marshmallows or cluds. We have tile floor so my back and feet hurt when standing all day but not with these. if you cook, or stand on your feet you MUST BUY THESE THEY ARE A DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!.
This particular pair seem just a little larger than my previous 2 pairs, which works just as well for me. But if that is a problem,I would get my regular size, instead of going up a size. These have a softer feel when walking and a great archsupport. They also have a stretchy heel strap, but it does not make the shoe too tight , but just the right fit. I'm in LOVE!
