Love theses boots because they are very comfortable too wear, good heavy duty build.
I was very delighted with my purchase of the CATERPILLAR Excavator XL, I decided to purchase another set of good quality pair of leather boots, this time I bought another pair of Timberlands, as compared to the CATERPILLAR, I found my feet literally safety and comfortable, for it has a Steel Toe, I primarily used it for my motorcycle rides specially when it rains here in the Philippine streets, I found my feet dry when it rains heavily, and when it rains here it pours, floods on the street, I wanted to keep my feet dry from floods, and it keeps my feet comfortable, and it it literally looks good on my motorcycle, I recommend buying this pair of leather boots from this seller, I received the good quality of pair of leather as being advertised from Amazon, thanks for the first class experience in wearing a pair of Timberlands!
My 2nd pair. I work in the propane industry, I’m outside all day in all weather conditions my feet stay warm and dry I can stand in water and my feet stay dry My last pair lasted me 2 years the only reason I replaced them is because my feet started getting wet on rainy days or standing in snow/ water. These are by far the best boots on the market. they are light weight and very comfortable I will continue to buy these same boots every time I need a new pair.
I had a pair of Carhartt boots prior to these and the carhartts only lasted 6 months. I’ve had these Timberland Pro’s for almost 3 years now. They break in fast, comfortable to walk in all day. They’re really warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. Very good water proofing. Slip resistant is very good for oils, hydraulic fluid, fuel, aircraft de-ice fluid. There are only 2 complaints I have; the oem laces are complete trash and so are the oem insoles. The soles lasted me only 8 months and laces tore in like 6 months. Buy better insoles and Kevlar laces. I’ve dropped parts & tools on my foot and didn’t feel a thing. These are also really good boots for welding and using cutting torches. 10/10 must have boot for mechanics.UPDATE 1/29/24: the boots are still good after 4 years of daily abuse in all climates and conditions.
I do construction a couple days a week and needed something comfortable and basically bulletproof. Problem is that I have very wide toes. Wide width shoes don't usually help that much since they usually add more fabric to the midsection of the shoe, which isn't where I needed. I tried on nearly a dozen different boots including other Timberland Pro's, Redwings, Catepillar, Wolverine, etc and none had a toebox that was comfortable enough. Some would have been ok had they been plain leather toes since they would have stretched a little, but because I wanted a safety toe, my toes kept smashing into or rubbing against the hard toe boxes. These finally gave me a beautifully wide toebox. In fact, these have almost too much available volume. These are huge! Not too long, but just a huge amount of volume. I added another couple thin insoles to eat up some of the volume and they fit well now. The anti-fatigue insole is fantastic, and I can do 10-12 hours without nearly the pain and soreness as even very good running shoes. They have saved my feet several times already (a nail actually bent against the bottom instead of puncturing my foot) and have been more than worth the money. I spent time standing in mud and still water with zero leaks. If they reduced the overall volume (mainly vertical), I think these would be the finest workboots available. As is, while they work for me, they might be too big overall for others with more normally shaped feet.
I have had multiple different manufacturers of steel/composite toed boots. Red wing, Dr. Martens, Dunham, and Caterpillar to name a few. These by far are the best quality for the money. You pay for what you get (except for Red wing, they are overpriced for what you get). Timberland delivered with guns blazing.I am on my feet 12 hours a day on concrete floors or grating stairs. I did not have to "break" these boots in, like I have had to do with the other boot manufacturers. These work boots are wonderful. My feet no longer hurt when I come home. The anti-fatigue feature is wonderful. It is similar to a rubberized stress ball material that you are walking on. If you push on the heel of the sole, you will see the brown section bulging, and realize how comfortable these boots will be for you. The toe protector having that extra rubber, prevents gouging of the boots. I am constantly knocking my toes on pallets, bar stock, etc.that is on the floor. I have had them for over nine months now. They look like they just came out of the box. I have walked through 3 inches of water in these boots, and stayed bone dry. The insole is still in perfect working order. (Not fraying, or a gouge in the heel area like other boots I have had.) The seams are triple stitched on the lower portion, and double stitched on the upper portion. The sole is not only glued but also stitched to the boot. Many other manufacturers glue only. I have had the sole come apart from the boot, because the glue stopped working. The composite toes help in the winter, as to keeping your toes warmer than a steel toe does. They do run a bit wider than most boots. Usually I have to purchase wide boots to accommodate the boot socks. Not in this instance.
Love these boots there sturdy enough for me
