We love these shoes! It is easy for our 9 month old to walk (cruise)in them, they are convenient for us to put on and they are super cute. Very well made. They don't dirty easily for white shoes. They look nice enough to be for special occasions but we use them for everyday wear. The sole is flexible yet durable.
We are huge fans of pediped shoe brand and these do not disappoint. My little one loves her pediPeds and seems to walk most confidently with these. They are still a little big on her as I ordered the 18-24 size and she’s 15 months. But she will get to enjoy them more for a longer.
Ordered royal blue for daughter's birthday.. Amazon TWICE sent me pink. Nice shoes, but not what I ordered. They also have a strange odor, not sure if it was from a chemical or the leather.
So sweet. Is there anything cuter on a toddler than a pair of pink Mary Jane's? I don't think so!
This is the second pair of pediped originals abigail that my daughter has owned. They are the only shoe she doesn't fuss with or try to take off and the only shoe that doesn't look to be messing with her stride. She will bring them to me to put on for her. I plan on purchasing many more pediped shoes. Amazon got the shoes to me faster than the pediped's website..so I will most likely purchase from here again (prices willing).
Bought these shoes for my 13 month old. She seems to like them. They are very soft, and have not caused any blisters or redness on her heals. The straps are great, since my little on has narrow feet. She walks fine in these shoes, no tripping or falling dow. Will be buying agin!
Did anyone else notice that new models of origianals by pediped have different soles from the old ones?I bought a pair in the fall for my baby and absolutely loved them. Everything was leather, very soft and comfortable. Since then, I ordered two more pairs this spring and they both came with soles that look like rubber, feel like rubber and smell like rubber. Hmmm.... I have to return them again. I am very disappointed. The company's customer service insists that everything is the same and it's all leather. But I believe what I see, touch and smell. I have to be hypnotized to believe that THAT material is leather.
As some other reviews have shown, these are not the original shoes that were sold previously.We have a pair of the originals and comparing them, the soles on the new ones are definitely different. They feel and look like rubber (and even smell like rubber) and not leather, even though it is printed on the bottom "Leather sole".Also, one of the reasons we liked the originals is for our toddler to "feel" the ground more, as we believe it's good for our child's development, and thus the soft leather soles were ideal. However these new soles are thicker and harder, and give less tactile feedback.
