Call It Spring Men's Gwynne Oxford, Black, 12

My husband has been wearing the Call It Spring Gwynne Oxfords for more than a month now, and he is extremely satisfied with them. The shoes are not only stylish but also very comfortable, and they have held up very well, despite being worn regularly. We would highly recommend these shoes to anyone in search of a great pair of oxfords.

These shoes look a lot better in person than they do in the listing. Teens and adults in the household all exclaimed at how nice they do look. They are comfortable, and feel "like golf shoes" on. They are lightweight and supportive, both of which are important to my husband, who was the judge of these mens' shoes. He really likes the contrasting sole, although I think they'd look nicer with a darker one. Matter of preference. They seem to run true to size, although a tad narrow at their widest point for their size. That may resolve with wear as they are broken in. It's difficult to find shoes my husband can wear which are not juvenile AND which fit him well (he's a mens' size 7). These fit the bill very nicely and are versatile enough that he can wear them in different settings and have style and comfort, too. Good shoes for the price.

I would show a picture of my ankles but, no. I must have gotten a size too small, I'm naturally a 10 but these 10's must of fit me too small and I was out walking around doing errands thinking of breaking them in and the moment I took off my shoes my socks near the ankles were all bloody. I did feel a lot of rubbing while walking and a stabbing sensation.. The shoe where the ankles are are very hard and have zero padding, felt like very hard rubber. Although the shoes are very nice looking, they destroyed my ankles. I would get a size up or put some orthotics into them, otherwise the rubbing will make your ankles bleed. I don't know if anyone else had this experience.

These shoes are comfortable. The white soles are a little more bright in person than I was expecting. The shoes themselves seem well-made, though we haven't used them long term.

I ordered the shoes with my regular size and they were spot-on. They fit very well.In terms of appearance, the shoes are stylish and look really good, especially with black pants of jeans (I opted for a black pair of shoes). I'm used to leather dress shoes, but like how this mixes things up.In terms of comfort, for me they are *mostly* comfortable. The insoles are great; they are soft and cushion each step very well. The only issue I had is that I found the side walls of the shoe above the ankle a little higher than I am used to, resulting in a tiny bit of rubbing and chaffing. I may get used to this over time... at least I hope I do. That's the reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5.

the toes are pointy, which threw my off, but - they fit. size as expectedI normally wear sneakers (to the office) or steel-toed boots (in the factory) so something in-between threw me off. These shoes would literally fit anywhere. They are pointy-toed, which is weird to me. I normally wear size 12 shoes, and at size 12, these guys were 100% on it. They look nice for an interview or a wedding or hitting the bar. Super-cool.

I've always been a strictly leather person when it comes to dress shoes. When it comes to faux leather, I am super against it because it often cracks or fails at the worst possible times. These shoes use vegan materials, but still feel light on the feet and breathable. The upper looks nice and feels smooth around the heel area. The soles are flat and don't have the clicking that a traditional dress shoe has with the hardened sole. The softer soles do have a drawback as I don't think they will last long if you traditionally walk on sidewalks or streets.The lacing and perforated design gives it a sophisticated look but at a comfortable feel.Overall, a solid shoe and interesting that the brand of this shoe is affiliated with Aldo.

Whenever you order shoes online that you have never seen or tried on in person you could get a mixed bag of results. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box on these. The style and color look just like what you see online. I got the Navy color and was very happy with how dark they are. See my picture set against black granite. After wearing them for the day I was overall happy with the fit and comfort. I will say that I feel that the toes are a little bit on the narrow side, but not too bad.Overall, love the styling and feel thus far. Will need to see how they hold up over time and will update the review if there is any change.
