Perfect for hiking in the Pacific Northwest!! These are warm, comfortable, completely waterproof! These have a wide toe box which is great for me but may be too roomy for those who have narrow feet. I walked through small streams and stayed dry. Perfect for tide pooling, forest hiking, rough beach walks, great ankle support and cushioning!
Fits great! Didn't have to "break them in" as they felt great the first time I wore them. I've worn them in the rain and they're definitely waterproof. Toe box has plenty of room. They're the most comfortable trail shoes I've owned.
I've been running and walking in Topo shoes since 2013. Except in the winter with snow and sub-freezing temperatures. I was glad Topo came out with a weather proof boot/shoe. But my regular size 8.5 was just a tad too small in this new model. I would recommend ordering a half size up from your regular size.Unfortunately, I returned these shoes and will await the low model, predicted to come out later this year!
It’s important to have a roomy toe box and these boots are so comfortable. The ride is soft and the soles are soft enough to scramble across boulders without slipping. The water resistance is a plus too. love them.
1st I got a pair of these. I was so pleased with mine that the Mrs wanted a pair. She’s more ecstatic than me. Plenty of room. Plenty of support. Not a lot of weight. Good all around athletic shoe that’s waterproof too.
I almost didn't try these because of another review stating that they look plastic. I'm happy to report that they do not seem plastic to me at all. I tried a popular brand of hiking boot known for their roomy toe box but I wasn't able to move my toes up and down in them. These boots have more vertical room for my toes. I'm not into pink or purple but I love the vibrant raspberry color. Since these shoes are wide, my 9.5s look more like 5s; it's a matter of preference but I think that's a very cute look.
Love these boots. Having a little issue with the left one where the laces tie but that may be just due to my anatomy.
I HAVE WIDE FEET, HIGH ARCH, AND HIGH INSTEP. I ALWAYS USE BIRKENSTOCK ARCH SUPPORTS WITH ALL MY SHOES. THIS IS A VERY HAPPY PAIRING.
