I purchased these because I wanted high top, tie up black footwear to use when riding my motorcycle. These fit considerably, they are made well and the all black color alleviates any concerns about the dirt you’re going to encounter when riding. I’m very satisfied with this product.
Comfortable, stylish and well priced.
I walk my dog everyday, and so I need a pair of comfortable shoes, but I tend to wear them out rather quickly and so I don't want to break the bank on shoes when I have to replace them every 2 to 3 months. Also, I do like the Chuck Taylor Converse basketball sneaker style. I've been wearing them since I was in high school. Ordinarily I would wear PF flyers but because of the pandemic presumably, they've been unavailable or exorbitantly priced. Therefore I've been purchasing other brands experimenting with sneakers in my price range and seeing if perhaps I might not find diamonds in the rough. Here I have posted several pictures of PF flyers next to the last purchase I made, Lugz, (which were also unavailable at this time) so I opted to try these Harley-Davidson sneakers. I did not want the color white but it was all that was available to me at the time and I needed new sneakers because the ones I currently have both have holes in the bottoms and I'm tired of wet feet and I don't want foot fungus. All I can say is that they are built very well, they are made of leather rather than canvas and you can really feel the difference in the build. Other reviewers mentioned that they run a bit large and as you can see when they're side by side they are slightly longer than the other two pairs of sneakers I own in the exact same size. So far so good though, they have a sturdy insole with more arch support then I am accustomed to in this style of shoe. I have not noticed any discomfort from the slightly longer length at the tip, but if I end up purchasing these again I may try a size down because they seem roomy enough that I think a size down might still accommodate my foot.
Buy a half or full size larger. They are narrow. Quality is better than CT's for similar feel and price. I will most likely buy the orange and black color versions as well. I don't ride a motorcycle, but I would not recommend them on a motorcycle. These do look cool.
I bought these to possibly wear at work. They're not all-day comfortable for work but they are great, casual shoes to wear around town. Got a few compliments on them as well!
Love these!
Great shoe great quality really comfortable
I ordered a size 11 black/orange. When they arrived I liked the appearance of the shoe. They were relatively comfortable and look nice on. But I had to return them because of the following issues:I normally wear a size 11 in most casual shoes. These were about a size too big. I had an inch of space between my big toe and the end of the shoe. They are a very narrow shoe, if you have a wide foot you might want to look for a different style or brand.I had a problem with the tongue on the right shoe sliding to the side as I walked. I noticed others had mentioned that in their reviews as well. The left shoe was fine. In the pictures I attached you can see how the tongue of one shoe is attached at an angle so it is impossible to keep the tongue in place while wearing. This appears to be a quality control issue with manufacturing. One shoe the tongue is attached perfectly straight and the other shoe the tongue is attached at an angle.I can't speak on how durable the shoe will be since I returned it but quality appears adequate if you use the shoe lightly. I don't think it would hold up long if you wear them every day and do a lot of walking. But that's just based on the appearance not experience. In summary I liked the appearance of the shoe but returned it because of the fit and the tongue sliding to the side.
