I had a pair of these for work many years ago, they were so comfy and nice. When I found these I just had to have them. New Balance is my regular sneaker. But these being steel toe. well you understand motorcycling with these is a pleasure.
These are awesome for people on their feet a lot! I’ve purchased 3-4 pairs of these over the years and will continue to. I’ve used them in industrial factory areas mostly. These are great to slip on/off as needed. Not a good idea if you do a lot of climbing, running or other heavy labor. This is primarily a comfy shoe for standing/walking in areas where steel toe is required, but not really needed.
These are quality work shoes. My husband works in a factory all day. It is recommended he wear steel toe, no mesh shoes or boots. He usually runs through work boots pretty fast and doesn't really care for how boots feel. I was pleased to find these shoes. Despite having no arch support my husbands has told me he really likes his shoes. The best part is that he has had them for 2 months, they look dirty from paint and metal but the are not showing the wear and tear like his boots normally do.When it is time to replace my husband's shoes, I will be back to buy another pair of these!
This is an awesome shoe. I wear an 11.5 in most other athletic shoe brands (Nike, reebok, UA). I got these in an 11, because I find that most steel toe brands (red wing, Lehigh, etc.) tend to run a bit larger when it comes to sizing. The shoes fit as I expected it too... Perfectly. The are extremely comfortable. I'd go as far as to say these are the most comfortable steel toes I've ever had. They really don't even feel like steel toe shoes when you're wearing them around. I guess because of the size and shape of the shoe, they don't really look like steel toe shoes either. They're not bulky like most steel toes and I guess because they've got that skater type look/feel... The weight is distributed more evenly around the foot. FYI: I've moved from heavy labor construction (pipefitter by trade) to a medium/light labor and site management type of position and these shoes are perfect for what I do now. In all honesty, Im not too sure how these would hold up on the heavier labor jobs though. The shoe fits the bill perfectly for my every day to day activities at work and like I said their the most comfortable steel toes I've ever had.
I bought these because my job required steel-toe shoes. Sadly, no one seems to take into consideration style when making them and I'm slightly fashion-conscious. Most steel-toe shoes look like they belong on an East German grandma c. 1958. Not these. My boss saw them and, like another reviewer mentioned, had to tap them on the toe because he didn't believe there were steel-toed.A lot of people mentioned that they ran sorta big so I got a size 9 instead of my usual 9.5. If my feet grow 3mm then I'm in trouble, but the size is fine. Maybe my feet are weird, but I found the sizing to be accurate. Also, what no one mentioned was that they are full steel-toe caps, just like a boot. For some reason I was afraid, since they looked so good, that it was just some steel wall up in the front, not a full cap. So there is that information if you too were wondering. My only gripe, but it's probably necessary, is that these things are padded thick around the tongue and rim of the foot hole. Like... THICK. They might suck during the summer. All is all, a great shoe. Sturdy, heavy duty, fashionable.
These are probably the most comfortable steel-toed shoes I've ever had, and they have held up well for my 12 hour shifts over the last several months, as well as a fair amount of casual use because they're so comfortable and actually decent looking sneakers. These are more comfortable than my Docs by far, and have only recently started to show any signs of wear, which is that the toe boxes have become loose and sometimes I can feel them jiggle when I'm walking on cement. They took no break-in period and my feet have been so much happier at the end of the night since I started wearing these. The fit was spot on, and my next steel toes are going to come from H-D, whether it's these or I decide to attempt to use a pair of their boots.
I wear work boots to work 99% of the time. But when I feel like wearing shoes… they have to be steel toed. And let’s be honest…. They’re just not. But these Harley shoes with the steel toes are comfortable and safety conscious!!!
The company I work for provides us with money to use toward hard toe "work shoes". I found these a few years ago and decided to try them out. They are the most comfortable pair of work shoes I have ever owned. I work in a paper mill with cement floors throughout. No problem with these shoes, and they seem to last forever. The pair I bought back then, still looks like the day I bought them. I use them more for every day use so I decided to order another pair. This way I can dedicate my current pair for at work only and the new pair for every day use. The only thing I did different is remove the white shoelaces that were in when they arrived, and put in the black ones that were also in the box. Looks much better all black. Buy these shoes for work or for play. You won't be disappointed.
