I have purchased several different pairs of boot slippers, but this pair by far is the best of them all.Perfect fit, nice and warm, look fantastic, affordable price (especially for high quality). These launder very well, they are comfortable indoors and outdoors, the soles are solid and the slipper is made with best quality in mind. I will be ordering more of these for the rest of the family.Highly recommend Acorn boot style slippers! My previous pair lasted over 5 years (worn nearly every day).
I love these soo much! We’ve bought 4 pairs all togather for us and our family members! My first pair has lasted me 4+ years! They’d very warm and comfy and the rubber bottom makes them a good shoe to wear out if you want too! They do seem to run a little bit small! I’m a size 7 1/2 and I needed a size large.
I love the Acorn Women's Faux Chinchilla Bootie II so much I bought it three times. It gives good support to your feet. Soft and cozy! Nice soles. And they last. I am in them daily from fall until spring. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and the large size fits perfectly.
The multiple choice questions about these slippers aren't flexible enough to give a clear picture. I'm a 9-1/2 in regular shoes, but these don't come in half sizes, so I ordered a 10, which fits comfortably. The faux fur lining keeps them snug without binding anywhere and they are cut high enough in the toe box that my toes have room to wiggle. They're pretty cushy to walk on, too. Some have complained that they're too hot, but I tend to have cold extremities and find them just right for cold nights. I have't worn them for more than a few hours at a time and haven't attempted to walk around or stand around in them much, but they have better arch support than any other slippers I've had. The jury's still out on whether they'll be as good as the thick soled supportive sandals I've been wearing during the warmer months or if my frame will start complaining after a significant amount of time on my feet around the house. The thicker than usual sole with a little bit of a heel also helps cushion and protect the bottom of the feet, and hopefully will make them durable, as well. (We'll have to wait and see about the latter.) The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the tops go inward and dig into my legs just above the ankle in the back and side. The lining cushions them, so it isn't too bad, so far, but it is the one thing that keeps them from being as comfortable as they might be.
Not as good as I had hoped. The faux fur is NOT a moveable cuff, ie it is stitched down, so the shoes vigorously maintain their shape. I would have preferred the cuff to fold and be more flexible. As it is, it is stiff behind my heel and slightly uncomfortable. The insole is not very soft. I'm guessing very little 'memory foam' if any. And there is rarely arch support in slippers. That said, they are warm, they look nice and seem to be sturdy and well made. I have very skinny feet with very high arches so, surprisingly, the opening to these slippers is a tight fit. I cannot 'slip' them on; I have to pull them on. But again, this might change once they are broken in. I still like them but am not sure I'd buy them again.
Love these really warm and comfy. I normally wear a 8 and the 8-9 are perfect. Worth the price.
I work from home and wear slippers all day, every day. I tend to sit on one foot. This means that my slippers take a huge amount of abuse. Especially the left slipper. And I always get slippers that have a rubber sole so I can make quick trips outside. This is my first pair of ACORN slippers. I bought large (I wear a size 8, but usually like a size 9 in slippers - I bought the XL). The length is perfect, and the toe is fine. The heel is a bit loose. Because of the inside fur, there is nothing I can do to add padding to reduce the size of the heel. Still, it isn't so bad. These look really nice and appear to be of very good quality. They are fur lined (even under your foot). There is a bit of cushioning under my feet, but I expect it won't last (to be fair, I've worn these everyday for about two weeks and they have not compressed yet). The most wear that I've seen is that the fur "collar" on the left slipper is a bit compressed. As I wrote above, I sit on my left foot. Most of my slippers get this compression on the left foot. This is happening a bit soon on this slipper. In addition to the fur "collar," the outside of the slippers has some sort of black fabric. It is sort of like a wool blanket texture. It does attract dog hair! Also, it might be starting to pill a bit.
I bought a pair of these during black friday 2016 and absolutely loved them! I have extremely high arches, planters faciitis and I supinate. I also require a wide footbed and extra heal cushion. My first pair still had tons of cushion and support after a yr of wearing. They were very warm and wicked away moisure and best of all they helped my foot pain immensely. So I bought another during black friday 2017, well I didn't try them on until after the 30 day return period because I THOUGHT THEY WERE THE EXACT SAME SLIPPPER...NOT!!!! What happended Acorn? Btt I'd got to wearing my new pair due to the fact that my old ones disappeared, I was shocked and estremely dissapointed that the cushioned bottom was now non exisistant! WTF??? I thought I'd gotten a knock off pair, but no, the markings, tags everything was the same. So Im asking you Acorn, why and what the hell happened? Does or did this happen to anyone else? I'm so beside myself because of my rare foot type it's very hard to find something that helps my foot pain at all so was extremely happy that these had lasted several washings and the padding was still like new after a yr. of use. So now I'm having to try and find a different brand that will be worth it and so bummed because so far I haven't found anything that'll work for my foot type.
