I have wide feet and suffer foot pain. Having boots that go on easy are warm and comfortable is key. These do all that at a great price. They seem well made. The zipper functions just fine for me. The boots had a good fit in the toe box itself, however, they hit bunions hard, so I returned them moments after trying then on.
So I feel like I have been searching the world over to find a boot my husband can wear that is both comfortable and durable..he is rough on his shoes! I have a very wide foot. In some brands I need 4E and in Timberlands I use Wide. The X-Wide in this shoe was a good fit.Beware that these are NOT waterproof. I went out in the snow for 5 minutes today just to test these shoes and by the end of it my feet were soaked. They may be water-resistant? Definitely NOT waterproof.
I wear a 12 6e so I got these on a try before you buy. They turned out to fit great in the 12 xxwide. They're warm and work great in the snow.
I bought these for my son who has massive bunions (runs in the family - thanks grandpa). Up until now he has only ever worn tennis shoes because it is stupidly difficult to find footwear that doesn't hurt. He really likes these boots which is perfect. Now he can't get out of shoveling snow because he hasn't got snow boots, lol.
I just got these, but they seem well made and they are a great fit. I was not too sure about the width size but ordered these larger and they came out better than I hoped. I don't like boots that fit too tight as my foot is swollen because of the meds I take but am more than satisfied with these boots. So glad I got them!
