I tried a half size larger than I wear because they weren’t available in my size & it does say they run small, but they were too big.I had no problem with the upper opening -enough room there. They do fit snug around the top of the foot, but they must because there’s no laces for tightening. They're not too stiff for walking either.Overall - decent boot - I’d say they run true to size.
I ordered this in 7W. The foot part fit good, but the opening when unzipped was too tight for my large ankle to get through without a struggle. I then ordered a 7XW thinking this would help. Ankle opening too small again. Couldn't get foot in at all. I really liked the look and build of the boot. I just wish they made opening wider with wider size. Had return both.
I am so happy with these boots. I read the reviews and people complained about the opening being too small, making them hard to pull on but they are MUCH easier to put on than my riding boots. I can even get them on without unzipping them. And they are Warm! My feet get cold. Last pair of boots I had, my feet were cold even with two pair of socks on. When I first pulled this pair on, I thought I had made a mistake: should have sized up because there's no way I'm gonna be able to wear two pairs of socks with them. But I needed them right away, so I did not return for a larger pair and I am so happy I kept them. One pair of socks- not even my heaviest socks- and my feet were warm in single digit temps. I wear them daily to muck out after livestock and they are the perfect height to keep crap out and like I said, super warm even on the coldest days and my feet stay dry in wet weather. They are perfect for my needs.
The neck of the boot was too narrow. The lining was too thin.The foot compartment was a correct fit but it was too difficult to squeeze my foot through the neck.The styling was very nice.
These are super comfortable and look good for a waterproof boot. I have wide feet and these fit just fine. Size 10 in women's
Exceptional price, especially for wide width
For under $25 (on sale) these were a good enough buy I suppose.I struggled for about a half hour to jam my feet through the bottom of the boot neck into the foot part…should have listened to other reviews. Once in, they fit pretty fine. A little tight on the top of the foot (where the unyielding rubber is). Wish it unzipped enough to let one’s foot in, because after stretching the leather the ankle fit is almost too loose.Almost returned them, but I’ve decided to make do, since the part that was too tight yields to stretching.Hard to believe these are 2x wide…with some kind of modification to the ankle to actually allow a wide foot in, these would be awesome boots!They appear sturdy, and perfect for this fall weather.
Love these boots! They're fancy looking! Boots look like they cost more than what I paid! Great deal! Bought as a Christmas gift for my Mom! I will buy a pair for myself after the Holidays! :)
