I walk 4 to 8 miles daily. Comfort is a priority. The footbed is very comfortable and supportive. Soft but not too squishy. The straps are very soft underneath so they feel good on the skin. No danger of blisters.Arch support is great.I really like Keen for the wider toe box. They shape their footwear like an actual foot. Pretty cool. For this particular version of Keen, the sizing is accurate. I wear an 11 in most shoes and a 45 in Birkenstock shoes/boots. I ordered the 11s and they fit great.I plan to put some miles on these sandals. Well made, cool design, and I love the environmental initiative by using recycled plastic bottles in the construction of the sandals.Keen nailed it with the Targhee III Open Toe H2
Can’t say enough good about these, i typically brake them in a couple weeks and these are going strong at 3 months. The inner lining of the straps is amazingly comfy and doesn’t change your skin when wet and sandy. Soles holding up well.If you want a Sandler to get wet and still feel stable look no further as these are best I’ve ever had. I hike in them, yard work, Jetski-stand up) and the stitching is just starting to fail see the pic.Just ordered two more pairs.
I bought these for me. But they seem to fit the wife much better. She has no arch. I have a high arch. The arch strap does not connect on me at all. I bought them in the men's section however. At least I thought I did. Going to try the US 8.5 men's. She normally wears 9 women's. These were a bit big on her. But the straps did connect for her very well. Will update when we get a better fit.
I was looking to replace my two sets of Teva's. Both were fifteen years old but durable and comfortable. Was looking to replace them with another set if Teva's but did not like what I saw. In looking for replacements a came across these Keen sandals and decided to give them a try. They are extremely comfortable and fit me to a T. If they feel as good after using them for a while at kayaking and beach walking I'll certainly order another pair.
He says they are the most comfortable shoe he’s ever worn then promptly wore them nearly every day except when he went to the pool he wore the flip flops I got. Never put his other shoes on at all.
My last pair were another brand - let's just say it starts with the letter "T". They were overly heavy and a strap broke resulting in having to throw them away. These Keens are by far the most comfortable pair of open-toed sandals I've ever had. There's a texture on the sole that's kinda stimulating. Feels good. Really happy with purchase and fit. Will be buying Keens from now on.
I owned Keen sandals a few years ago that went all over the Colorado back country and never disappointed me. I purchased these in October and don't wear them all that much, haven't been on any serious hikes with them, and they're falling apart by Feb. Disgusting from a brand that used to mean quality.
You get used to the fit. I just bought another pair and realized my original review was far too harsh. They are too wide and too short in length for me, but far less so than you think judging from my original review. I raised my rating from one star to four. And no, I did not have any contact from the seller or anyone about my original review. These sandals are good enough for me, and they last a long time even if you walk a lot in them every day, as I do. Both the soles and the straps last, although the straps are way too long for me because I have to have it so tight, but still, good enough, so much so that I am enjoying my recently purchased second pair now.Original:The sandals are both too large and too small at the same time because the length is too short and the straps cannot be tightened enough to keep your feet from moving all over on the sandal... Huge disappointment considering they were not, I thought, something that would end up being worth about one dollar given how poorly they fit. I have never had such a badly, weirdly fitting sandal, and I have worn different sandals for well over 50 years.
