We purchased these for our 8 year old son for a trip to Hawaii. We love Sanuks and these are no exception. They fit him well and are comfortable. They held up well, even with all of the scrambling around he did on lava rock. They got some scuffs and small tears, but he was really rough on them. These were great around town, at the beach, and are better made than most of his other flip flops.
As a sanuk buyer myself, I decided to buy them for my 11 yr old daughter who usually has a hard time finding sandals that will not hurt her feet but these she has said they are really comfy, I was worried about the durability based on other reviews but in our experience they have been holding up pretty good and my daughter is not the most gentle human.
These are my son's favorite flip flops. While they don't provide arch support, they do offer comfort. He wears them all summer long and also to Tae Kwon Do. He owned a size 1-2 pair until they became too small. Now his size 3-4 pair are ready and waiting. They run a little big but he will grow into them. These take a lot of kid abuse and last all summer long. One of his flip flops was actually lost in the ocean overnight and we found it on shore the next afternoon. It survived! The salt water didn't appear to impact the flip flop's performance.
Everyone in my family loves these Sanuk flip flops. My son and I both currently have some. So comfortable and last forever.
Sandal quality is great. Well made. Very cushy. Unfortunately does not fit foot quite right.Son wears size 13. Ordered 13/1. When foot is set ON TOP of sandal it is the perfect size for the foot. However when the sandal is on the foot there is too much sandal forward of toes and not enough under the heel. Could order larger size however excess sandal forward of toes may present a trip hazard?
Perfect for a pair of flip flops to last through the summer for a child, very durable and they look good too.

My 8 year old swears by his Sanuks! He won't wear any other brand. Since his dad and I both wear the yoga mats, he also calls these his "yoga" flip flops :-) My son has short but wide feet, which sometimes makes buying shoes in general difficult. These are perfect for his wide feet! We also live on the lake so he's constantly in and out of the water and these are great for that! They dry quickly and still maintain their shape/looks.I don't think our family's feet has ever met a Sanuk that it didn't like :-)
