I saw these last year, and really liked them. I did not purchase. I took a chance this year with the "Try Before You Buy" option. I like that option because it's easy! I chose the size recommended by Amazon. I usually go up half a size in boots. (I'm a true 5.5W, and usually have to purchase a 6.) The 5.5 is fine with thinner socks. I wore them for 4 hours on my feet for the first time with no problems! As I wear them more, I am confident they will get better and better! I would have probably purchased a 6 if I had tried the 5.5 & 6 on at the same time. But we'll never know... I'm happy with my new boots! Quick shipping too. Thanks!
I buy fatbaby boots simply for their comfort. This version is less western, more combat-ish, still comfy and made with high quality stitching and materials.
They easy to pull on and off. Not a fan of the tall boots when I need to go out and work in the field. They are super comfortable. I have bought a second pair. Highly recommend
Outstanding product for barn work. Excellent fit & comfortable rounded toe space. Leather holds up under wet conditions & dries fast. The traction in rocky terrain is very balanced.
These were nice, a little lighter than expected - which is always good, but I wasn't feel too secure with the bottoms of these - they were almost too light and I wasn't sure what kind of grip they would offer me - especially with the mud and snow we get! I do love a good pair of Ariats and my older ones are tried and true ... love them and they're at least 6 yrs old! As far as these go, I had to send them back .. They didn't feel as good as my older ones did - again, different styles, - but these just didn't work too well for what I was looking for...Had to add that after I returned them I was notified of the tracking and return "steps" - like a timeline - helpful information, but it's now going to be THREE weeks to have returned these and WAIT for my refund. They got here in a matter of 2-3 days, but the refund takes 3 weeks?! NOT going to be buying from Ariat much more...
