I bought the canvas version of the Taos sneakers after having worn the wool sneakers. First thing I noticed was the high arch support. There are pads inside the shoes that you can remove but once you remove them they are no longer as comfortable or supportive of your feet.These sneakers have a low profile so they would look nice with various types of clothing. I wear these mainly with pants but would probably look cute with shorts and skirts.Beware that the toe box is kind of tight at first and that's mainly due to the high arch pad that's inside the shoes. The pad takes up A LOT of room in the shoe so that could be a good thing due to the support, or bad due to tightness. Depending on the material you purchase, you probably won't get much stretch in them just so you know.So, while they are pretty supportive in the arch and sole, they can get kind of tight after wearing them for a several hours.

I ordered a half size up per everyone’s recommendation and the size seems perfect. They are a bit stiff and hard to get on. I can’t just slip them on. However, I wore them out shopping and on errands the first two days without any soreness. I did wear socks (the pedi no show kind did seem to work). They are not the “ahhh” kind of comfy you get with Sketchers or Go Walks, but they are not uncomfortable. I hope to be able to wear them on vacations. I bought the charcoal color so I could get more use out of them, but I really wanted the red (which I just purchased today)!

Love these sneakers. They look like Converse but offer much more support. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Europe where much walking will be done. These sneakers are super comfortable and stylish. I have plantar fasciitis on my left foot and the arch support on these is fantastic. Plus they look so much better than walking around in running shoes. I swapped out the laces for elastic laces so that I can easily slip them on/off without retying. I'm normally a 7.5 M/B but I did listen to other reviews and ordered in a size 8 and they fit perfectly, so they do run a bit small. Width-wise, they were perfect for me. I got them in the charcoal gray color and they're a deeper gray than what's shown in the pictures above, which I prefer.

These shoes are great! I am used to a wide foot bed in my shoe and these do not have that but... they are so comfortable! They are hard to get on if you lace them this way so I struggle a bit with getting them on. A shoe horn would be helpful, but who owns one of those these days? I have PF so my left foot is always painful to me. These shoes have such great arch support that my foot feels great after wearing these all day. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8 because of other reviews and they fit perfectly. They are a much better choice than Keds or Converse because of the foot support. I want the red ones now!

I love these shoes! I broke my foot a few years ago, so now I need to make sure that the shoes I wear offer good support, cushion, and overall comfort. This meant having to get rid of a lot of cute shoes and limited options. These have a nice retro look and are extremely comfortable. Sometimes I'm on my feet for hours at a time, and these are great! I've bought three pairs of these already. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for comfortable, cute shoes.

I really like this shoe and was looking forward to getting to wear them, however, I was very disappointed when they arrived. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and sometimes an 8 so I decided to order the 8. The length was bordering on short but maybe doable. The width was very, very narrow. Now I’m left with the dilemma of whether to order the 8 wide and risk the heel being loose or going with an 8 1/2, which I have never worn in my life. Very odd sizing.....I do like the quality and the look so I really hope to figure the sizing out !

I like these sneakers; the color matches with a lot of things in my closet. I am disappointed with the materials and workmanship though; they are made in China, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. They do have a good arch support, but I haven't worn them enough to put them to the test of time. I found a better made brand called superga; made in Italy.

Ordered these and had to return the same day. They run small and while I usually wear a size 8, the 8 fit like a 7, so I advise you buy them at least a 1/2 size bigger. Overall the quality looked good.
