Shoe runs true to size and includes the arch- and metatarsal-friendly support insole. Break-in time is non-existent; these shoes are comfortable the moment you put them on. New sole squeaking disappears within a few minutes of wear, and the sole is substantial; not at all flimsy. Textured color is delightful and versatile. Like every other pair of Taos sneakers I own, these are high-quality wardrobe favorites. Highly recommend.
I pretty much wear running shoes all the time because a bad back means solid, supportive shoes are always required. These Taos sneakers are just as supportive, but far more stylish. These are my new "I need to look a little more polished" shoes. Great fit. Great support. Great Look. As an aside, these "khaki" shoes are not exactly what I would call "khaki". I think they are more on the olive green side. Regardless, they are absolutely perfect.
This is the third pair I've purchased. Expensive but worth it, comfortable, toebox has good room, arch support is good too. I have machined washed mine and air dried them several times with good results, just remember to take the inserts out first!
My wife loves these shoes. She has some weird feet that always hurt after a day of work... these shoes with the nice arch support and comfy insole have been a God-send for her. She is actually looking at buying them in different colors to match some of her outfits. The fit like a hug for your feet.

The styling of this shoe is nice, but the fit is too snug. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, so I ordered the 9. I had a tough time getting the right shoe onto my foot. I wore them for a while and got a blister on my right little toe. At the same time, they seemed too long, because my heels slid up and down in the shoes. Unfortunately, my husband threw out the packaging and receipt, so I guess I'll have to keep them. I am hopeful that they'll stretch out a bit in the right places.
These are possibly the most painful shoes I have ever worn. I love the arch support and they’re attractive and very sturdy but I went for a walk and had to take them off after about five minutes because they were unbearably painful. They are now “broken in” but I can’t tighten the laces or my feet hurt. I walk around the mall or short distances in my neighborhood and my feet hurt. I wear them around the house and my feet hurt. I can’t even wear these! I’ve honestly gotten more out of cheap Walmart shoes. I expected more from a pair of shoes that cost so much money.
