I recently purchased the ALTRA Men's AL0A7R6M Escalante 3 Road Running Shoe in orange and I'm very impressed with the performance of these shoes. The shoes have a modern and stylish design with a comfortable fit.The shoe is lightweight, making it perfect for long distance runs, and the cushioning provides great support to the feet, making it comfortable for extended use. The shoe is also breathable, allowing my feet to stay cool and dry even during intense workouts. Be aware though, since they are zero-drop, your ankles might initially get a bit sore, but after a few runs this went away!One of the unique features of this shoe is the FootShape toe box, which allows the toes to relax and spread out naturally, improving balance and stability. This feature has really helped me maintain my form during runs and reduced the risk of injuries.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase of the ALTRA Men's AL0A7R6M Escalante 3 Road Running Shoe. I bought these for the gym and for walking and I couldn’t be happier!For a small cushioned bottom the feel is still squishy but stable. The zero drop is ideal for squats and deadlifts. The wide toe box provides amazing stability, like being barefoot.To boot, they also look very good as kicks.NoteAltra does not ship to Canada but this Amazon purchase was only a few dollars more and a $17 duty.You can buy Altra in multiple Canadian retailers but the selection is limited.Will buy again!
These are extraordinarily comfortable shoes! The toe box is a little wider, allowing your toes to spread out naturally. The heel is a low rise. These features allow your feet not to have uncomfortable pressure points and evenly distribute your weight as you walk. They’re not bulky. I wear them when I workout and while I am walking. I have chronic foot pain and these are the best shoes I’ve had to minimize my discomfort issues. They feel different than ordinary walking shoes. I highly recommend them!
I like the shape of the shoe and its zero dip design. They makes the shoe comfortable to walk around. The shoe is the second pair of Escalante 3 that I bought. It is the same as the previous one that I bought in a physical store. The shoe's delivery is punctual.
Great everyday shoe that's super comfortable and can take you miles. Very breathable in the summer time but also means they're not great for rain since they'll let in water but absolute clouds on your dodos
Comfortable and fits well in the heel without being narrow or tight in the toes/forefoot. Love these shoes! Only thing is I Wish they had better colors like a black on black. Not a fan of the white sole. Great everday shoe though!!
I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He needs stable shoes that are still comfortable. The zero drop is great for lifting weights and he even goes running in them!
I have used these as my daily walkers for several weeks now, putting three or so miles on them every day. The larger toe box turned out to be the perfect cure for some soreness I was feeling on the outside of my foot. The soles are a little thinner than my clunking workout shoes I had worn previously, so there was some tiredness in my feet to start, but that just means they were working harder than before. I cannot emphasize enough how much these feel like slippers and yet support me day after day. True: I'm not sure how long something so light and breathable will last, but I have no problem replacing them when the time comes. They're that good.
